Is sleep before midnight worth more than sleep after?

We've been seeing this question in the media recently and even hearing from some sleep experts that sleep before midnight is sooo much more important and better for us than sleep after midnight. If we’re a night owl that might be sending shivers down our spines. Fear not! Our resident sleep expert, James Wilson, AKA The Sleep Geek, clears this up once and for all:

Sweet dreams: Sleep is like an overnight counselling session with different stages that supports us both physically and mentally. It’s absolute poppycock that sleep before midnight is worth more than sleep after. We’re all individual so we should go to sleep when we’re feeling sleepy.
